Purpose

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is preparing a planning and environmental study for potential improvements to the I-55 at Weber Road interchange. This Community Context Survey identifies various community characteristics within the study area that are important to residents, businesses and the public. This information will help IDOT develop the proposed transportation improvements based upon community goals and local plans for future development.

As you complete this survey, please consider the interaction of people and groups within your community when considering factors such as mobility and access (vehicular, non-vehicular and transit modes), safety, local and regional economics, aesthetics and overall quality of life.
