A number of outstanding core facilities have been set-up here at UTHSCSA that provide access to advanced technologies and expertise. As the technologies continue to advance and the generated
data expands in both volume and complexity, it has become clear that many research laboratories would benefit from additional support in the areas of bioinformatics, computational biology, data management and statistics.
This survey is designed to gain a better understanding of these needs and to identify priority areas that can be targeted for investments by the university.
