Guidelines for Nominations for The Recorder Lawyers on the Fast Track 2013

The contest is open to California lawyers in their first 10 years out of law school. Nominees will be judged on their achievements in their practice areas, leadership in their firms or organizations and leadership in their communities. Making the list requires substantial accomplishments in all three areas — leadership positions within the firm or practice community, significant responsibility in high-stakes matters and extensive community involvement — or a jaw-dropping example of accomplishment in one of those categories.

The Recorder is looking for lawyers across all practice areas and from both the private and public sector.

Lawyers named to The Recorder's 2012 Lawyers on the Fast Track list are not eligible for consideration this year.
