Pope Francis’s encyclical Laudato Si’: On Care for our Common Home, outlines an “integral ecology” where protecting the Earth and its environment is connected to protecting those who are poor, vulnerable, and marginalized in society.

Your participation in providing answers in this survey will help the Archdiocese of Washington’s Office of Social Concern develop a pastoral plan to better care for creation and educational resources to guide these efforts.

This survey is one tool being used to shape this effort.

It is framed around two sections:
·       General Personal Awareness
·       Current State of your Parish

At a future date, archdiocesan staff and volunteers will conduct focus groups to further define the vision for implementing Laudato Si’.
