Springfield Township officials, with assistance from the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, have started the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan. Springfield Township’s last comprehensive plan was completed in 2003.
The purpose of the update is to ensure the Plan reflects appropriate priorities and strategies that are consistent with best practices and available resources. The Plan will help guide community officials for the next 5 or more years in areas such as neighborhoods, land use and development, parks and recreation, infrastructure, community services and facilities, and transportation.
The first step of the plan update process is a quick survey to gather your thoughts and ideas. The results of the survey will be valuable in helping to develop focus areas in our community and prioritize the Plan’s recommendations.
The survey results and other important information regarding the planning process will be posted and updated on the township’s website. Printed copies of the survey can also be attained at the Township Hall located at 7617 Angola Road.

Thank you for your time and feedback!
