Sylvania Township officials have started the process of updating their Land Use Plan. Sylvania Township's last plan was completed in 2007.

The Plan will help guide community officials for the next 5 or more years in areas such as neighborhoods, land use and development, parks and recreation, infrastructure, community services and facilities, and transportation.

Community forums will be held in 2017 that will offer opportunities to discuss one or more of these elements of interest. These public forums will incorporate planning exercises, such as round-table discussions, mapping and visioning exercises, surveys, and poll-based data collection.

The results of the community survey and other important information regarding the planning process will be posted and updated on the Township’s website.

Printed copies of the survey can also be attained at the Township Hall, 4927 Holland Sylvania Road.
