Mobile Sim Lab Planning Tool - The mobile simulation lab can provide high-quality, realistic training for the members of your class or agency. The EMS Simulation Technician will work with you and your instructors to set up or develop scenarios adapted to your agency, your response situations, and your protocols. The truck can be left running outside or plugged into a shore line in a bay.

13. What is your objective for the simulation scenario? *Examples would be atropine resistant bradycardia forcing them to pace or a difficult airway forcing them to perform a surgical airway. If you are unfamiliar witht simulation, please see our FAQ at: http://www.in.gov/dhs/files/Info_Bulletin.pdf (Since protcols, procedures, and medications differ across the state, if you plan to use a specific protocol an electronic copy would be appreciated.)

Will your scenario be medical or trauma? *Although the simulator is capable of simulating trauma and bleeding, it is most effectively used simulating assessment and treatment of medical conditions – it makes them think. Participants have a tendency to miss the subtle signs and symptoms the simulator is capable of in trauma scenarios due to the prehospital emphasis on time. A medical scenario is also a better introduction if this is your first experience with the simulator.
