Survey Overview

The Rhode Island Child Care Facilities Fund Early Learning Facility Survey is designed to gather critical information that will help inform the allocation and prioritization of state resources for facility related items. In order to best respresent the current state of Rhode Island's early learning facilities, it is important that we receive responses from all licensed early learning centers and that answers be as honest and complete as possible. Please note the following important information:

-- We will be randomly selecting ten centers from all those who complete the survey to receive a small grant in the amount of $500.00 which can be used to purchase materials and supplies to enhance the indoor or outdoor learning environment at your early childhood facility.

-- We do require you to provide the name of your center. This information will be used only to determine the number of centers who have responded and to randomly select centers to receive grants as noted above. Information specific to your center that you provide here will never be shared outside of LISC/ the Child Care Facilities Fund.

-- You may skip questions, however, we strongly urge you to answer all questions to the best of your ability in order to give us the most complete picture of your facility.

-- Please be honest and complete in your answers. Only by gathering accurate data can we help inform decision making and the allocation of important financial resources. We will not identify any individual centers or their responses in any reports. All information will be reported in aggregate form.

-- If you do not understand any questions or need assistance completing the survey you can contact us by e-mailing clarson@lisc.org or by calling 401.331.0131.
